As cycling becomes a more popular method of transport in the UK, more must be done to provide adequate and safe cycle lanes on our roads. The Traffic Lane Separator Bollard does just that. You can easily create a cycle and traffic lane divide that is clear for all to see when using the road.
80% of accidents involving cyclists happen during daylight, the most common is when motorists enter the cycle lane. So when adding the cycle lane bollards, it stops any vehicles entering the cyclist lane and potentially harming the cyclists.
The post has been manufactured from a flexible and durable polymer that is designed to withstand impact from cars, bicycles or pedestrians. If the post is hit it will return to its upright position and there will be no damage to the bollard or the reflective panels.
This is the ideal cycle lane separator for busy roads as it will provide a safe area for cyclists, whilst also allowing cyclists enough space to exit the lane in emergency situations. The CLS DB edge is also suitable for night time use as the 360 degrees reflective panels will make them visible to vehicles and bicycles.
You have a choice of 800mm or 1030mm height and each section is 1 metre long.
