Cycling is becoming more popular each year as the UK looks to keep fit and reduce emissions and congestion. To keep cyclists and motorists safe, you can use the Cycle Lane Separator (CLS) bollard to provide a high visibility barrier between cycle and traffic lanes.
80% of accidents involving cyclists happen during daylight, the most common is when motorists enter the cycle lane. So when adding the cycle lane bollards, it stops any vehicles entering the cyclist lane and potentially harming the cyclists.
The post is manufactured from a durable MDPE that has been used due to it being able to withstand impacts that may occur when on a public road. The base has also been reinforced to ensure that it can handle cars running over the base.
The bollards are designed to be low maintenance to maintain the quality of the product. The post and base are both rust-resistant and won’t require painting at any point during their use.
