This 7 cu ft grit bin is a popular winter product and available in a choice of three colours, yellow, dark green or a Victoriana style, black and gold option which looks great in all locations. It is manufactured from tough and durable, UV-resistant polyethylene which requires very little maintenance.
The bin features a curved lid that is designed to minimise the amount of rain, snow and ice settling on top of the bin, ensuring continued ease of use in the extreme weather.

These grit bins are interstackable to offer compact storage throughout the summer months when not being used to clear areas of ice and snow.
The design also includes two channels beneath the bin which allows the bin to be manoeuvred with a forklift / pallet truck even when full of grit.
Optional Extras
The Multiscoop is a versatile tool that can be used to quickly and efficiently spread grit or salt. It is manufactured from tough and durable plastic and features an all in one, leak free design with integrated handle for ease of use. The Multiscoop is ideal for storing inside this grit bin and can hold up to 25kg of grit.
Multiscoop Dimensions: Length 685mm / Width 220mm / Height 350mm
An optional telescopic shovel can be added, which includes a clip which will allow you to fasten the shovel to the inside lid of the grit bin for convenient storage (as shown in the image).
To ensure you are thoroughly prepared for winter, we can supply this grit bin with 200kg (8 x 25kg bags) of either brown or white salt.
Please Note: If you add rock salt to your order, this will arrive in a separate delivery to the spreader and within 10-15 working days.
