The stackable design and high-quality construction of this 7 Cu Ft Grit Bin have proven to be very popular with both residential properties and commercial premises for the efficient storage of rock salt or ice melt.
Available in a choice of yellow or dark green, it is manufactured from robust and UV-resistant polyethylene construction which will not discolour due to sun exposure and can be kept outdoors all-year-round.

The angled, hinged lid keeps snow and ice from settling on top of the bin, ensuring ease of use in winter weather.
Channels are included in the design to allow it to be easily manoeuvred with a forklift / pallet truck. This ensures it can be easily positioned, even when full of rock salt.
Optional Extras
To keep your stock of grit salt safe and secure from theft, 2 x optional factory fitted hasp and staples are available (padlocks not included).
The optional Multiscoop is a versatile tool that can be used to quickly and efficiently spread grit or salt. It is manufactured from tough and durable plastic and features an all in one, leak free design with integrated handle for ease of use. The Multiscoop is ideal for storing inside this grit bin and can hold up to 25kg of grit.
Multiscoop Dimensions: Length 685mm / Width 220mm / Height 350mm
An optional telescopic shovel can be added, which includes a clip which will allow you to fasten the shovel to the inside lid of the grit bin for convenient storage (as shown in the image).
To ensure you are thoroughly prepared for winter, we can supply this grit bin with 200kg (8 x 25kg bags) of either brown or white salt.
Please Note: If you add rock salt to your order, this will arrive in a separate delivery to the spreader and within 10-15 working days.
