Keep your driveway, patio, garden or path free from snow and ice this winter by storing your own grit salt in our 2 Cu Ft Recycled Grit Bin.

This compact and versatile grit bin is manufactured from UV-resistant recycled polyethylene and ideal for home use. Even though the bin is made from recycled material, it is just as tough and durable as the non-recycled grit bins and has the added benefit of costing less.

The grit bin features an angled lid designed to minimise the amount of snow and ice settling on top of the bin, therefore ensuring ease of use even in winter weather. The angled lid also allows rainwater to run off.

The 2 cu ft grit bins are inter-stackable up to 10 high, making them practical for storage during the summer months when not being used for storing grit salt. This also means great savings on delivery charges as up to 40 bins can be shipped on a standard size pallet.

Optional Extras

A GRIT / SALT adhesive decal is available as an option to clearly indicate the use of the bin.

To keep your stock of grit salt safe and secure from theft, an optional factory fitted hasp and staple is available (padlock not included).

To assist with spreading your grit salt, or for helping transfer it from your grit bin into your salt spreader, we can supply a plastic handheld scoop. The scoop measures 310 x 140 x 185mm.

An optional telescopic shovel can be added, which includes a clip which will allow you to fasten the shovel to the inside lid of the grit bin for convenient storage (as shown in the image).

To ensure you are thoroughly prepared for winter, we can supply this grit bin with 50kg (2 x 25kg bags) of either brown or white rock salt.

Please Note: If you add rock salt to your order, this will arrive in a separate delivery to the spreader and within 10-15 working days.
