These wheelie bin covers are manufactured from high impact strength glass fibre composite (GFC) and are ideal for a wide range of locations, in particular places where corrosion protection is important, such as roadsides and coastal areas.
The wheelie bin covers are available in a choice of four sizes to house either a 120, 140, 240 or a 360 litre wheeled bin and are designed for hiding away unsightly litter bins, replacing them with an attractive alternative.
To allow access to the wheelie bin inside, the unit features a hinged door fitted with a budget lock as standard with the option to upgrade to a slam lock available. Slam lock is a stainless steel lock which is easily opened using a square T key and closes with a push of the door against a spring loaded boss. If you wish to upgrade to the slam lock please select the lock upgrade option.
The GFC wheelie bin covers are available with a choice of either a textured, smooth or Victoriana finish. The textured finish uses PTX textured paint to give a rough finish not too dissimilar to sandpaper and is designed to prevent unwanted graffiti and posters being applied to the unit. The smooth finish uses a smoother pseudo-cast iron finish with only a slight texture and no roughness.
The Victoriana finish uses the smooth finish with only a slight texture and no roughness with the addition of highlighted beading as standard to give a classic Victorian appearance. The Victorian finish is a popular choice for heritage sites and town centres.
The unit is supplied with either ‘LITTER’ or Tidyman moulded plates to the left and right sides as standard. Please note the main image shows optional moulded and Perspex plates.
The unit is supplied with four large apertures giving full 360 degree accessibility and a choice of four apertures is available to suit your waste collection requirements. If the unit is to be placed up against a wall, the back aperture can be blanked off.
Perspex plates are available to clearly show what is being collected inside the unit. The plate is fixed to the front of the unit below the aperture and makes the waste stream visible from afar. If you require the Perspex plates, please see the related products section above and add the number of plates you require to your basket.
