Fire Retardant GRC Large Closed Top Litter Bin - 231 Litre Capacity

The Fire Retardant GRC litter bin features a very large 231 litre capacity which makes the bin ideally suited to parks, green spaces and other busy areas. The bin is constructed using alkaline resistant fibres and concrete to provide excellent vandal resistant properties with a higher degree of fire protection compared to any other litter bin currently available.

The bin has a square design with one large aperture on each side to give full 360 degree access and a lift off lockable door allows quick and easy access to twin galvanised liners for when the bin needs emptying. Another feature of the bin is a moulded plate applied to each side of the bin showing either ‘LITTER’ text or a Tidyman logo.

The GFC litter bins are available with a choice of either a textured or smooth finish. The textured finish uses PTX textured paint to give a rough finish not too dissimilar to sandpaper and is designed to prevent unwanted graffiti and posters being applied to the bin. The smooth finish uses a smoother pseudo-cast iron finish with only a slight texture and no roughness.

The bin is supplied with a pre-drilled base that allows it to be securely fixed to the ground using RAWL bolts. Alternatively ground anchor feet are available which allow you to site the bin in freshly laid concrete. The feet bolt to the bottom of the bin and once the bin is in place and the concrete has cured, the bin is securely held in position.
